Our Story

Coldwell Banker Premier Group was founded on a vision for real estate that began in 1972, when Mark Cofman established the company as an independent real estate firm specializing in the sale, management, and acquisition of apartment buildings. In 1986, the company expanded into residential real estate with Norman Polsky serving as broker, helping lead the growth of what would become one of the St. Louis region’s most respected locally owned real estate companies.

In 1995, the residential division joined the Coldwell Banker network as the first independently owned Coldwell Banker franchise in the St. Louis region. The company quickly rose to become one of the top Coldwell Banker affiliates in the state of Missouri, a reflection of its strong leadership, agent-first culture, and long-standing commitment to excellence.

Today, Coldwell Banker Premier Group continues to be guided by the vision and local leadership that shaped its foundation. As Broker/Owner, Norman Polsky has played an integral role in the company’s evolution, bringing decades of real estate experience, a strong emphasis on training and coaching, and a belief in raising the standard of professionalism within the industry.
